   The book entitled “EFL Teaching Methodology” is a book created by a lecturer at the English education study program at Kuningan University, namely Dr. Fahrus Zaman Fadhly, M.Pd. One of the things that the author will review is chapter 1 of the book with the title "Perspective On Language & Their Impacts On Language Teaching Methodologies".

   Chapter 1 presented provide an in-depth analysis of various perspectives in language teaching, including structural linguistics, behaviorism, cognitivism, and sociocultural aspects. By combining these theories, this chapter shows how each approach has made a significant contribution to language teaching methodology. This is critical to helping educators understand the complexities of language acquisition and design more effective strategies.

   One of the main strengths of this chapter is the emphasis on social interaction in language learning. Referring to Vygotsky's theory and sociocultural approach, this text highlights the importance of social and cultural context in language acquisition.   Overall, this chapter provides valuable insights into language teaching that can serve as a guide for educators.
